More about the design: Artist Marm O. Set delivered another stunning yin-yang styled design with the Zen Gator artwork. Compared to his other Zen designs, the Gator was a tough nut to crack. He loves the alligator’s scales and he wanted to include as many as he could. But, they’re not easy to do right, he says.
A DGU Classic Design: From time to time, we like to pull out some of our favorite original designs from years back, and pair them with awesome new plastics. The Zen Gator was originally released in 2020 in Champion, Pro, and other plastics.
More about the Gator disc: The Gator is a very overstable medium length disc. With a flat release it will slowly follow a straight path for much of the flight until its very strong Fade yanks it to the ground. It’s a stout, fire plug of a disc that’s not meant for the inexperienced. Metal Flake / Champion models are known to be among the most overstable of the Gators.
